Opera Interlude with Virginia Mims

Since her first impromptu performance at the PBO Guild Luncheon at the tender age of 4, the Guild has watched Virginia Mims blossom into one of the finest emerging singers today. A recent graduate of Indiana University, Ms. Mims performed at the Aspen Music Festival last summer as Musetta in La bohème alongside Matthew Polenzani. She returns to Sarasota Opera in the same role this winter, following her successes there as Despina in Così fan tutte and Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro.
